Hello College Coaches, I am Colin Jennings and I’ve been running track since I was in kindergarten and has been long distance. My main goal in xc and track is to try to pr almost all time and work harder to increase my time and get fast at each event I’m running in at my meets. I also do Boy Scouts and working towards my eagle rank. I also do leadership conferences like NYSPHSAA Leadership Conference representing my school and section. In addition I like to do community service like how I’m helping create and promote a 5k run at my high school to support mental health. I also do a lot of extracurricular activities like being the vice president of the class of 2026, Principal Leadership group, Venture Crew and Hall of Hame Ambassador, General Organization, and Sit on Board of Education Committees: Extracurricular, Instructional, and Buildings and Grounds, also sit on our FAME which is the Friends of Arts, Music, and Education. I worked as a camp counselor for two years at local Boy Scout Camp teaching merit badges which have grown on me as teaching, public speaking, organization, and leadership roles as having a connection with the campers. I enjoy watching and following sports which had want to study more about it in college on top of running as well.
