Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Matthew Fowler and I am currently a Senior at Concord First Assembly Academy. I am very interested in running XC/Track at the collegiate level. I started running in the 6th grade and have wanted to pursue it ever since. I train full year round with my coach and take pride in my work ethic.
I understand that being a student comes first and running comes second. I currently have a 3.9 GPA and take mostly all honors courses. I am a strong leader. I have been the top distance runner on my team since the 7th grade and like to be a good example to my teammates and try and help them be the best they can be at running.
