I am a leader on the track team and love the track team atmosphere. I am usually the first one to practice and love to mentor newer team members. Our school does not have many resources for track and field (we train on the driveway), but I am very proud of what I have accomplished. The lack of resources have been a learning opportunity for me. I've learned how to be able to keep working even when you have nothing to work with and it taught me how to be resilient. I have been running track for two years and in that time I have made it to states twice and set a school record. I hope to be mentored and taught at a college level so I can continue to grow, develop and get my times down. I am excited to see what I can accomplish.
I am a 6'0 160 pound Junior who is taking 3 AP classes. I am interested in attending a small school where I will be coached and taught in a more intimate environment to achieve both my athletic and academic goals. I want to be able to run track as a freshman while also earning my degree. I want major in psychology or psychiatry to become a psychiatrist.
