Denmar Chambers '22 Recruiting Profile

I work to serve people. I am passionate about helping others around me grow and prosper. Whether I’m at school, church, in my community, or on the field. I don’t hesitate to take advantage of volunteer activities no matter how big or small. 

I volunteered with the local Special Olympics Basketball team, I have gone on international and domestic mission trips, and I go into low income areas to distribute food and supplies throughout the year. I love and live for that feeling of giving back to the community: none of it is for my personal gain. Having experienced it up close and personal with family, I just know what it’s like to have nothing and be on your lowest leg and close to your last dollar.

My servant leadership is not for persona, it is not to impress.  It is my passion, it’s what I love to do. I will put the needs of others before mine, while simultaneously leading that same group of people to the finish line.
