Personal Statement

During my freshman year at Moeller High School, I really did not know what to expect athletically.  I had always been a good runner but I did not know if that would be enough to compete at the Ohio Division I level.  However,  over the summer I grew and with strength training, I got stronger. My times began to improve drastically and that really helped me grow and mature as not only a runner but more importantly a person and a student-athlete.  During my first spring track season, I had another jump in times.  I then began to really believe I could one day be capable of competing at the college level.  I am excited about this upcoming season and school year.  This season I look forward to competing at the varsity level with the best runners in Ohio.

  • I took 25 teammates on my cross country team to Dayton where we did a "Boot Camp", it was largely focused on leadership, putting trust into each other, and becoming a more unified team. I organized the camp and the cadre were all former/current military members that pushed both me and my teammates to be our best. Here we were able to create a "Team Log" with the team creed we created ourselves written on it. We also took home a Guidon and most importantly had grown as a team

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
