Stephen Kapumba '...Personal Statement
I love to compete in track and field, whether it is my main event or trying something new that my coach thinks I should do. Competing in track and field is some thing that I started later than most but I am rapidly improving and doing everything I can so I can rise to the top. I am committed completely to track and field and do not let it get in the way of my academics, I even made honor roll in grade 9 and 11 and so far have the grades to do the same this year. I also work well with others and possess leadership skills, at school I make sure everyone warms up properly and often end up running the practice. My goal is to go to a school that I find to be the perfect fit for me academically so I can pursue my education while working hard to be the best jumper I can be.
