Personal Statement
My name is Christian Jarosz and I am a recent graduate at Assumption Catholic Secondary School located in Burlington, Ontario.
I would first like to give a bit of background information about my running career. I have only been running seriously since the summer of 2022, having converted from competitive soccer which I played for many years. In the time that I have been training, I have runs time of 1:59 in the 800m, 4:10 in the 1500m, 6:10 in the 2000m Steeplechase, and 8:57 in an indoor 3000m race. I have also run a 15:45 5km road race. I am currently taking a year to work on improving my times for the 800m, 1500m, 3000m, and 5km. I will be going to Kenya in January 2025 for 2 months to train in altitude. When I return I will be doing some indoor races in both Canada and the US.
I have a 3.97 GPA across all 4 years of high school and look forward to running at the collegiate level.
