Currently, I am completing my fourth and final year in the Regional Sports Program at Applewood Heights Secondary School. My focus has consistently been on a combination of academic and athletic achievement. My collegiate goals and aspirations are to attain a Bachelor of Science in the biomedical field with the ultimate goal of becoming a doctor in sports medicine. My athletic goal is to successfully compete in the NCAA championships.
In the area of academics, what makes me a good candidate for your team is that my academic achievements have consistently been recognized by my placement on the Honour Roll each semester since grade 9.
In the area of character, I am self-disciplined, hardworking and set and follow healthy boundaries. I am family-orientated, a loyal friend and a steadfast and trustworthy team member. I am spiritual, self-disciplined, persistent, cooperative, reflective and have a positive growth mindset.
In terms of my athletic ability, I am training currently with my coach for two hours a day, six days a week. I can handle pressure under the most challenging circumstances as I balance both my academic and athletic schedules through my determination, adaptability, persistence and self-discipline.
