Malachi Kenny '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Malachi Kenny, and I live in Pembroke, Ontario. Running has always provided my life balance, as both athletics and academics are very important to me. I realize that a great exam does not start at the bell, and a great race does not start at the gun, as only the consistent commitment of time and effort leads to results. I live Mohammed Ali’s words: “The fight is won or lost far away from the witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights”.

Additionally, I enjoy and value my partnerships with my coaches, teachers, and teammates. We are a team, motivating each other to reach towards our goals in the classroom and athletics. 

I want to achieve my best. Each season and offseason is a path to improvement and a personal best. I know that my pursuit is not mine alone, and I look forward to competing with, learning from, and running with those who share the same pursuit in university.
