Personal Statement
Coach,
There are hundreds of kids who want to come to your program, so what makes me different? What makes me stand out amongst everyone else? We all have talent, most of us have heart, but what you get with me goes beyond that. In addition to all those attributes many of us possess, I’m a good citizen and a throwback to a time when young men like myself would hold doors open for the lady leaving the grocery store. I respect my parents and teachers, and if you take a chance on me I’ll be the first and last person you see at practice. I understand talent and speed are gifts and nobody will outwork me.
