Hi, My name is Tim banks, I live in eastern Oregon In a small town known as Burns. I am a senior now and have a current GPA of 3.93 out of 4.0. I am very active in sports and also in general. I run XC in the Fall, workout for pole vault off-season in the winter, and participate in track during spring and summer. I have always wanted to pole vault ever since middle school. I mainly wanted to pole vault because I was curious and wanted to learn more about pole vault. Sadly our Middle school T&F here in burns doesn't offer it. So I waited till I could try it in High school and it took a while for my coaches to say yes. I hope they are realizing that it was an all-around good choice. I have vaulted 11’6”.25 and I know that there is a lot of work for improvement. I would like to become a veterinarian someday as well as compete at the college level, with a scholarship that I receive from my own hard work. I am looking for a college that can give me these very important opportunities. I also am looking for a college that would allow me to serve a mission for my church The Church Of Jesus Christ Of latter Day saints and return still accepted by that amazing college. I would like to thank you for taking time to read my statement and I hope you have a wonderful day. - sincerely Timothy Banks
