I grew up in a very creative and artistic environment. Both of my parents are entrepreneurs and artists. I grew up in their gallery and acquired a keen insight into the complex nature of combining two different worlds of business and art. I have been exposed to many different kinds of environments and social arenas and have a varied extension of friends and social life while also maintaining my academics. I love sports, film, books, art as well as video games and social media. I believe I am a leader and have made varsity in soccer, lacrosse and track as well as having played on the best U-19 club soccer team. My grandfather was a professional lettered athlete at the University of Miami where he played football on a full scholarship and went on to become the first New York METS player in 1962. I know I have that in my genes and in my heart! I have found that I LOVE to run and while excellent at other sports feel that track is where I can be both self-made and also be part of a team. I have always been fast and the love of running has really grabbed my attention my Junior year enough to want to pursue this in college. I have two desires- both to be west coast and east coast so my decision is difficult. I know that I am able to challenge myself academically as well as athletically at a prestigious college or university.
