My name is Chase and I feel like I would be a very good pick for your Track and Field team. There are a few different reasons why I feel this way starting with my work ethic. Once I get a taste of accomplishment I strive for more. A few examples for this are that I wanted to get the varsity spot for my soccer team by doing whatever it takes. That year I went form JV sub to Varsity start by working hard and showing the coaches they can count on me. Another reason why I feel like I am a good pick is that I am very coachable. I take in any and all advice I can get and I work on getting better.
You may look at my current GPA and think that it is not great and I agree. I screwed up my sophomore and freshmen year and I deeply regret it so I been focused this year on getting my GPA back up! I don't think you should let it discourage you from possibly bringing me onto your team, I made mistakes in the past but all that matters is what you do to make up for them.
I look forward to speaking to any of you who come across my profile and hope that you think I am a good pick.
