I became an athlete when I was just 4 years old and never thought it would bring me to what I am today. As I grew up playing softball from t-ball, I wanted to do more and be pushed harder. As time went on I got into basketball in 6th grade, volleyball in 8th grade, and continued softball. I have never been pushed more than in volleyball, it was a different breed compared to softball and basketball. I love the environment, the teamwork, and simply the sport. I love nothing more than going on the court digging hard hits or strong serves more than anything.
From the start I was a middle blocker then going into my junior year I found I love the thought of throwing my body on the floor for my team, and leading my team. I took up being libero and I loved nothing more, hitting was nothing compared to this for me. Leading my team, getting great ups for them, great sets and a kill to end a rally, puts so much joy in my heart. Or getting a tip that's falling short, or getting the coverage on a block is just amazing. It puts a different sense in me than softball, or basketball ever would. I am happy that I took up volleyball as my third sport because I can see a future where I am leading my team to victories on the court. I would be so honored to lead your team, and put forth all of my effort to execute any request given.
