I’m Colter Folk, I’m a grade nine from Swift Current Saskatchewan and my goals are- Getting into a College that will be good for me, run Cross Country and Track at the college level, and become a Canadian Olympic distance runner and represent my country.
I’m a good candidate for your team because my personal best in the 3000 is 9:30.85 which is fourth fastest all time in the province of Saskatchewan and that time will get faster, I won 2023 Track provincials in the 1500m with a time of 4:23 which isn’t super impressive but I had an eight second gap from second place, I won the 3000m in 9:30.85 and a 32 second gap. I was the only athlete l to drop under 10 minutes. In school I try my best I don‘t have perfect scores but I have a few averages in the mid 90’s. In my opinion school comes before fun so I miss out on a lot of fun things but I know it’s worth it.
