When I first started track, I met one of the craziest runners in my life his name is Alan deogracias. My years running with him he would try to be different. He inspired me to be like him, like a unique runner on the team. Because of him, I am the person I am to this day. Track interested me during my freshman year, I wanted to go beat my older brother's times in his events. After that I had beaten my brother times, I decided to go after my dad's 800m personal record. I've beaten my dads time my sophomore year. During, my sophomore year, I had to overcome a big obstacle. That obstacle was being too serious about my races. Once I started to try to have fun during the races, my times improved. Every season and every meet, I would always wear my orange hat to be recognized. During my time over the years of running track, I've learned that I have teammates that depends on me to push myself and them as well. My academic goal for high school is to get A's and B's. My college academic goal is to Plan homework and study times for every course. I also want to major for mechanical engineering.
