Sarah Speed '23 Recruiting Profile

Being on one of the top high school teams in my region since freshman year has really strengthened me as a player to play up to the level of players 2 and 3 years my senior. As we move closer to playoffs, I continually learn how to sacrifice, time-manage, and evaluate myself as a player for the good of my team. I have always had a passion for soccer since age four. Through playing soccer, I've learned that I am very hard on my self, sometimes to my detriment,  but the hard work always pays off in the long run. I have been told I am a very coachable player and always compete for playing time.

 My goal in college academically is to be successful in getting a degree and being grounded in a career in the STEM field.   I would like to play at a competitive level in college soccer to be challenged by other hard working and talented players. I love learning new things and knowing what I can do to be better as a player, student and person. I know that I have the talent, knowledge and will-power to compete and contribute to your team!
