Harold Nolan '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Harold Nolan and I run the 5k, mile, and 2-mile race. I have grown faster every year that I have run and I will continue that trend anywhere I end up, but outside of the track I am an Army JROTC cadet in my 7th semester, and I am the battalion commander. I am the leader of the Raider team. With these other activities I do, I have learned a lot about myself and my capabilities. I've learned that I want to be a coach for cross country in the future and help the next generation when it comes to this sport. I also want to run later in life way after college, I believe being in good physical shape can lead to a great life. what makes me a good candidate is my growth and potential plus my dedication and work ethic to this sport. even when I got injured and sidelined for 8 weeks I still made big improvements at the end of the year. even covid couldn't stop me from setting a new PR the week I was out. that is the type of dedication and work I'm willing to put in for any team interested.
