Personal Statement
Hello my name is Isaiah Galicia and I run track and cross country. Current I am a student from Clarksville, Tennessee I am also attending Clarksville High School. I am looking to break 16 minutes in the 5k, so far I have ran a 16:22 this cross country season (19-20) and am trying to break a 10 minute 3200m along with sub 4:30 1600 and breaking a 2 minute 800 meter. Other than running I am also have a 4.0 weighted GPA and am a member of nationally recognized academic groups such as the National Honors Society. Personally I look forward to new challenges and experiences along with leading others which I attribute to my current success and I hope that my current skills and mentalities will also help me succeed in the collegiate setting both academically and sports-wise.
