I started running track my freshman year and ran the 1600 and 3200 meters. I never really thought seriously about running until cross country this year. I started my season with a 26 minute 5k at practice and I've improved to a 19:56.02 at the DeKalb County Invitational. I'm feeling very optimistic about this upcoming Track and Field season. I'm improving everyday, learning new things, and strengthening my love for this sport. I would love to take it to the next level come 2022.
