My name is Leah-Kate Clark and I am a pitcher at Livingston Academy. As a freshman I started on varsity as a pitcher and led my team to win a district championship, and on to compete in the regionals. I am 2018-2019 Freshman of the Year, and 2018-2019 All Freshman team, and District team. My Freshman season taught me how to lead a team and when to take control, to always Struve to be the best, and always be the the one working the hardest on the field. Getting my Sophomore season taken away from me due to Covid-19 really taught me how to overcome and work through versatile situations, I learned to make goals for myself, and treat this season has a season for improvement and to work on skills that needed to be improved on more. This sport is my passion and I aspire to play at the next level. I train for this sport all year round at lessons, camps, and practices, I feel that my dedication has not only helped me in the sport but also in the classroom. I maintain a 3.8 GPA while taking all honors and AP classes. With my tight schedule I think it has prepared me for the next level if that is what my future holds.
