I feel like my ultimate goals are to get better as time goes on. I want to look back in the future and see that I did something with my life other than just sitting around doing nothing. I think things that make me different from other people are my work mentality and my leadership because of the family I grew up with. I was pushed, and pushed to be better than I was at that time which also lead me towards new academic goals. My academic goals in school have always been to be my best self education wise, but when I started to apply this to my attitude day by day, I could begin to see a huge difference.
I had to overcome many obstacles growing up such as people making fun of me for how slow I was and them also telling me I wasn't good enough. I'm glad I didn't listen to them because I have developed higher leadership skills and I have noticed that people are starting to be drawn to me. This has increased my ability to relate with other, diversify my friend groups, and grow in my listening skills.
