I heard about the running club in the second grade and immediately knew that the following year running was something I wanted to do. As a child I constantly wanted to race against other runners no matter what size, age, or speed and I felt the running club could offer that. After joining and competing in my first 5k race, I instantly fell in love with cross country.
With the help of my family and a competitive heart, with a desire to get better I believe that any obstacle that comes my way will be overcome. I have participated in cross country throughout my educational carer and have been blessed to be apart of an amazing program; winning district in 7th, 8th, 9th,and 10th grade. Throughout the years of running, I have learned that my sport takes teamwork, hard work and dedication, the will to sacrifice, and commitment.
I am looking for a family like program that will help me athletically as well as academically. I believe that I am capable to run at the collegiate level, I also believe that I have the right leadership, work-ethic, and dedication, to make a fast impact on your program.
