Sean Sanchez '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Sean Sanchez!

I am 17 years old and attend Chapin high school in El Paso Texas. I'm a student athlete  of many aspirations and goals. I try very hardest at the things I set my mind to, I am passionate about track and field as well as XC. My top goal is to achieve a full ride scholarship as a D1 selection. To achieve this goal I am working diligently to improve my run times as well as my academics.  As everyone in life, I have opportunities. I can at times be lazy and unfortunately this has impacted my academic career.  However, having a goal of this nature and seeing my potential in these sports has not only given me drive but the push I need to prove myself academically and in the race! My height has held me back in many areas of sports that I have been passionate about. I found this to be discouraging until I started running track. I fell in love with this particular sport and later would join XC.  I'm starting later in the game, but I can prove my worth. I will prove my worth. Thank you for your time and consideration.
