Personal Statement
Hello my name is Manuel Moreno and I have been running ever since elementary school. I started off running purely for fun in elementary school and once I got to middle school I joined the sport of Cross Country and Track and field to keep myself in shape for soccer season but as I progressed through middle school I found my competitiveness and passion in Track and Field. Once I got to high school my ambition became to be the best runner I could be and it's an ambition of mine to compete at the college level and if it's possible then I want to go further than that. I'm hard working and I will put in the work necessary to better myself, sure I will complain about hard workouts but I will suck it up and keep pushing because I know that is the only way I will achieve my dream of becoming a professional runner.
