I started running in 8th grade, and since then, I have been improving over the years with the support of my parents, coaches, and team. While running and staying sharp academically, I have also been participating in Brazilian Mixed Martial Arts, which teaches a great lesson in the value of hard work and practice. On top of all of this, I have an aspiration toward becoming a pilot in the future. With all of these tasks I must perform I learn a whole new lesson entirely about time management.
My family has been alongside me throughout the entirety of my running seasons, and when I talk about my family I also want to mention my teammates. Growing up as an older brother has really left me looking up to some of my upper-class teammates, and I also feel it is important to have someone or a group of people to look up to for advice or inspiration. I am very thankful for the environment I find myself in and for those who surround me.
As for Colleges, I am looking for a school with a wide program of study and a reputable athletics organization. I plan to improve even more throughout my final years and continue to focus on my future.
