Dylan German '20 Recruiting Profile

First and foremost, I aspire to receive a great education and pursue my bachelor’s degree. In addition, I am excited to possibly compete in Pole Vaulting at the collegiate level.

I pride myself in growing as a leader inside the classroom and on the track. During my freshman year, out of 2,500 students in the whole school, I was 1 of 20 selected to the Chick-Fila Leadership Academy. I have continued to excel this year as a sophomore as I received the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Award (HOBY) 1 out of over 667 students. And I had fun attending and learning more of what leadership is all about.

I have the heart, work ethic and determination to be successful in everything I do. I first took up Pole Vaulting as a freshman in February of 2017. In little over a year I have improved from 9’6”” in my first meet to my PR of 13’6. I train hard and continue to set goals. I am determined to keep soaring higher and higher!

I am coachable, hard-working, and have demonstrated strong leadership capabilities. I will work hard in and out of the classroom. I will be a great fit for your program.
