I believe that I am a good candidate for the team for many reasons. The first reason being, I have always worked hard in practice and in school to be able to sustain and balance a good academic life while also focusing and putting forth much effort in sports as well. Alongside this, in every meet of my Junior year of high school, I set a new personal record at almost every meet showing the hard work that I was putting in during practice. I also believe I am a good candidate since I pride myself on being able to adapt to any situation and any team to not only better myself but to better the performance of the team as well. In my first year of running, I was able to compete in every meet and I got 30th the Arkansas 4a District meet, by doing so, I qualified for the Arkansas 4A State Championship and set a personal record of 21:34.20 and helped to team to place 12th in the state. I believe I am a good candidate for any team that I am given the chance to run for and I know I will work to be the best I can be every day if I am given the opportunity to run for any college or university.
