Personal Statement
I am very determined to compete at a collegiate level. Ever since I began running track, I instantly fell in love with the sport. I would consider myself to be a quick learner. I absorb everything my coaches have to say to me and try my best to apply it on the track. Not only am I very coachable, but I am also very resilient and I will always bounce back even after the toughest losses.
I believe a lot of student-athletes often tend to forget that their grades are equally(if not more important) than the sport. I, however, am not the latter. When I am not on the track, or in the sand, I am working hard to maintain my grades in the classroom, and working diligently to achieve my goals for the future.
