I am a highly motivated and competitive athlete. I strive to perform to the best of my abilities and be a leader in any sport in which I compete. My true passion is track and field. I am a state level hurdler (110mH) and ran the second leg of both the 4x100 and 4x200 relays at the state track meet for my track team. Both relays set new 1A state records. I dropped my 110 hurdle time by 0.42 seconds from Regional to State competition and leaned at the finish line to get the silver medal in the 110s. I would like to run for a college and strive to continue competing at a top level to better my chances of accomplishing this goal. I am also the top student in my class and have a 99 average on a 100 pt. scale. I have excelled in dual credit classes and have thus far accrued 12 hours with a 4.0 from South Plains College in Levelland Texas while attending high school in Paducah TX. As stated previously, I work hard to lead and motivate my teammates to achieve all that we can and I feel that I have both strong leadership skills and can also be a supportive teammate. Thank you for your time and consideration.
