Parker Sines '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been competing athletically in multiple sports since elementary school.  Years ago I started with soccer, baseball, basketball, flag football and a summer track program.  It has been a vital part of who I am as a person and as a competitor.  Some of my favorite memories with my younger teams are winning multiple county and state championships in flag football and traveling the country with my summer track club competing in the AAU Club Championships (1st place), AAU Junior Olympics (2nd place twice) and USATF Junior Olympics and earning All-American honors several years.  Through these years of competition I have been honored to have some incredible coaching and train with great teammates.  Thankfully, each team and each coach always commented on the fact that I am coachable, competitive and a supportive teammate.  I have learned to listen and learn from each person who influenced me to keep working hard and continue to set personal goals and achieve them.  Over the years, I also know that my teammates would say that I am a positive team player and leader too.  Lastly, I work equally as hard in the classroom.  I have challenged myself by taking mostly Honors, AP and Dual Credit courses.

Outside of school and sports, I am currently running a successful tankless water heater flush business and in the past I have successfully run my own lawn mowing business and hired teammates to help service my growing business.  Last summer I was hired as a lifeguard and quickly promoted to monitor.  I had several HOAs specifically ask for me to be assigned to their pools because they said I was thorough, diligent and personable.  I also enjoy being involved in my church youth group and really enjoyed the retreats and camps.

I am looking for an opportunity to join a collegiate team that has a culture of supporting the student athlete both academically and while becoming a better athlete, a team that is more like a brotherhood and a team where everyone has the grit and determination to continue to improve not only for themselves individually but for the good of the team/school.
