Andres Diaz '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello to all Coaches. My name is Andres Diaz, class of 2024. I started running track in 3rd grade, and the sport has really become a part of me. I have learned what I love running the most over the last few years is the 400 M Dash, 4x400 Relay, and the 200 M Dash. Running track has disciplined me to become self-motivated and strive to be better than I was before. I have also played competitive soccer most my life both in school and leagues. So I bring not only self motivation, but also I know what it is to work on and as a team. 

I want to go to college and major in business. I haven't decided what  I want to do, but I know I want to be able to work on cars. Possibly open my own business in the car industry.  I have a few more years to fully decide, but besides sports, cars are my passion!

I think what makes me different is I don't mind and actually appreciate constructive criticism. I enjoy listening and watching others  that I can learn and grow from. Being the first person in my family to have an opportunity to go to college is a big deal to me. I am the oldest in my family, and want to set a good example for my younger siblings.
