The exam increases in difficulty each year. ***PHYSICS MOUSETRAP CAR CHAMPION (9th) Built a mouse trap car that traveled further than any other Physics students (my car was still moving when it hit the wall in the gym). I was the only student to use a single-axle design to reduce friction. ***NOTABLE PERFORMANCE AWARD (9th) Awarded to one male and one female in each grade based on academic performance during the school year.
  • Activities***NASA HIGH SCHOOL AEROSPACE SCHOLARS PROGRAM (11th) Accepted into NASA’s STEM program for high-school juniors. The course requires weekly homework, including research papers, design challenges, and video presentations. ***SCIENCE LAB ASSISTANT (11th) Selected by the science faculty as one of only three lab assistants for the school. I assist the faculty in designing, testing, and preparing labs for their Chemistry, Physics and Biology classes. Also assist with preparing review aids for their students. ***UIL ACADEMIC TEAM (10th & 11th) Helped launch this team during my 10th grade year. We participate in monthly academic competitions relating to math, science and current events. ***INKLINGS CREATIVE WRITING CLUB (11th) Social group of 20 that shares and collaborates on creative writing projects. Co-authored 20,000-word fictional story with two other members. ***AUDIO-VISUAL TEAM (10th-11th) Volunteer weekly to run the audio-visual equipment at HopePointe Anglican Church. I rotate among operating the soundboard, the video livestream, and the slide projector. Planned school-wide social events (e.g., homecoming dance, upper school retreat, etc.). NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
