Personal Statement

Hello my name is Jonathan Garcia and this is my life story. I lived  in a ghetto part of the city my entire life,I been pushed around my whole life beat down so many times. I have always been discouraged saying to my self to give up that I am a failure but I always got up no matter how hard life hit me life got harder my right after Sophomore year when my father got deported and me and my older brother had to pay the bills even though I was still running track each day was a struggle school, track practice then go to work everyday. My Junior year of high school I started doubting if track was worth it that I wasn't going to be fast enough to qualify for a scholarship which started affecting my grades going from A's to B's & C's I overcame this part and trained twice as hard after this no matter how hard life got I kept pushing, I am not the most academic but I train harder then most.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
