Personal Statement

I am a dedicated student-athlete passionate about middle-distance and relays in track and field, as well as cross-country. I aspire to compete at the DI level, but I am also enthusiastic about opportunities at the DII or DIII levels. Academically, I am highly ranked among my peers, reflecting my strong work ethic and time management skills; I have nearly straight As in dual credit courses while in varsity team sports,  pursuing my private pilot license, and competing in classical piano competitions. As the XC team captain this year, I was most rewarded by the cohesion and inclusive nature of our team and the motivation of my teammates that brought us all the way to the state competition, as a team, for the first time in five years.  I am a dedicated, proactive, and coachable hard worker.  In 2024, I was the MVP of my track team and was voted by my peers for a special award, validating my efforts as not only a strong contributor but also an encourager and motivator. I am always striving to achieve my next big goals and have a proven record of achieving them!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
