I have been raised in a hard-working and very Christian home, I am respectful, teachable, and understanding. I work really hard when I am pushed by my coaches and fellow teammates. I would love to pursue a degree in Psychology to create a good gateway for a promising career. I would to be able to also participate on a team for cross country or track and field. Pursuing this to me sounds ambitious especially since my family is very poor, I hope that college will provide the privileges in life that I never had growing up. I was adopted at the age of seven till 16 but due to some circumstances, I chose to live with my older sister due to problems and poor relationships in the household. I have worked hard to get where I am today, I have acquired many adult skills that peers will most likely not acquire in a few years. I also participate on a knowledge bowl team with hopes of making state this year, this shows that I am an intelligent individual both in and out of the classroom. Unfortunately, a lot of my plans will no longer happen, I messed up my GPA real bad when I took a running start my junior year, I continued to take too much on my plate and had to drop all my plans in achieving an associate's degree. I hope that I can find a college that can provide for all my dreams and ambitions to set myself up for a successful life ahead of me.
