Hi, I recently just finished my Freshman season of Varsity basketball as a starter. It was a season of growing, learning and improving. As you can see from my stats I averaged 8 points per game and 5 rebounds per game. I am in the gym at least 3 days a week for one to two hours working in the off season to improve my game.
My college goals are to obtain a degree while being on the deans list and playing basketball and working hard to achieve my goals.
I would make a great candidate for your team because I am coachable, self evaluated, and a team player on and off the court. To be coachable you have to listen and take constructive criticism and immediately fix what you are doing wrong. When I play I notice if I make a mistake I correct it the next time down the floor or shooting a free throw. I have always passed the ball to the ball up the floor or to the open player before dribbling or taking the shot for myself.
I am an outgoing person, have a bubbly personality and it is easy for me to talk to new people. I am in the gym working on my skills every chance I can outside of school. I can read the floor and predict what the opponent is going to do next. As a student I strive to keep my grades 85% or higher.
