I have been obsessed with the idea of competition and sports even since I was a kid. From the smallest things like racing out to the car after leaving a grocery store to beating out players from rival schools to advance to sectionals for track. The feeling of satisfaction that this brings you is like no other. Especially after working for it. Sports have also helped me develop into leader, and not because I yell and tell my teammates what to do but I lead by example. For instance I usually attend morning workouts for football at 5:45 am. Waking up this early is not easy but I realized that it wasn't easier for anybody else on the team. I used this as a reason to get up and attend and once my teammates would talk to me and I would tell them that I was going they would then want to attend and we would all grow as a team. And being a part of a team is one of the greatest things you can ever have, it is a second family and to be able to compete, be a leader, and be on a team in college would be a dream come true. Thank you. Note: My 2020 outdoor season has not yet been cancelled, I Also wasn’t able to attend any indoor meets.
