Ben Wetzel '25 Recruiting Profile

To quote Larry Bird: 

“I've got a theory that if you give 100% all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.”

I am a multi sport athlete playing state level soccer, competitive travel basketball and scoring on in our middle school cross country team.   Due to the pandemic, I was able to get just one small experience with middle school track this Spring. We had very limited practices, limited coaching and 6 track meets over the coarse of 4 weeks. I was able to clear 9ft3in in our 3rd meet and I know that I will do more when given the opportunity to learn more about the sport and practice it. 

Through hard work, having fun with my teammates and trusting God, I aspire to be everything I can be as a high school, college and professional athlete.
