I am a multisport athlete focusing on what I love, Track and Field. I have been competing in sports since the age of five, focusing on Track and Field since my high school freshman year. I compete in both short sprints, relays, and horizontal jumps. I hope to use my athletic ability and experience to achieve my goal of pursuing a career in Sports Psychology. I hope to make a positive impact on athletes by helping understand what brings about certain behaviors, coping with those behaviors, how it affects their ability to compete. I have a strong work ethic, dedication, and a no quit attitude. Although I compete in individual events, at the end of the day, track is a team sport. I enjoy being part of a team where we can support and encourage each other in pursuit of the same dream, attain our goals, and celebrate success. The discipline that has molded me as an athlete has also molded me as a student. I work hard in the classroom and have found the balance it takes to be a successful student athlete.
