I got introduced to volleyball in 7th grade and since I touched the sport, it felt as though a fire was ignited and kept getting bigger and bigger along the years. That led to me joining Apex Volleyball for their Summer portion of their club season the summer of my 8th grade year and since then I knew I wanted to play for as long as I can and I want to compete. I wanted to compete with the best because I knew that I had the potential, athletic capability, and drive to. Currently I am in Pulse playing for my 15U season and all I can think of every moment of the day is volleyball, however I still maintain my grades having A's and B's in my classes.
I love this sport so much and it has become a part of me and is more than just a sport. I believe I can do anything that I have a passion for and my passion for volleyball is so immense that even for myself, it becomes hard to imagine me not playing this sport and not being able to step on the court. It doesn't matter what position I want to play, I will play whatever will let me touch that court another time.
I am very dedicated, self motivated, and I would say I am a team player. Yelling at teammates does nothing for the team, rather you should build them up, compliment their good plays, and make sure they are in a good headspace. There are 6 people on your side of the court for a reason, it's not just so you can play as if there is only 1.
