While everyone has challenges on and off the court, I think of myself as someone who does not back away from a challenge and like to face them head on. I feel that has become even more apparent in the last year. In Dec of 2019 I was in a car accident that left me with 6 broken ribs, a skull fracture, a lacerated liver, and a very bad concussion. I fought to get back to good health in order to play volleyball in time for the high school season only to have it canceled thanks to Covid 19. This year has require me to dig deeper to reach my goals to improve my game. Getting court time has not been easy and it is not what it used to be, so I have had to become imaginative with my training and staying the course to achieve my goals. I look forward to the next chapter of my volleyball career.
