I became interested in sports at a young age. I played basketball, soccer, and softball. In the beginning softball wasn't my favorite, but when I was 8 I got elected to play for the All-Stars team and It was at that moment when I realized I had fallen in love with the game. Through softball I have learned so much about my self. I have learned that I am dedicated and committed to reach my goal of playing softball at a higher level. My academic goal for high school is to maintain a good GPA all four years and to take higher level classes to challenge myself. Softball has also pushed me to challenge myself. Throughout my softball career I have faced many obstacles, but the obstacle that I continue to face is being smaller than a lot of the other girls that play. It can be tough at times, but it has just pushed me to become a better player both physically and mentally. In college I want to major in Forestry and minor in Exercise science, although this may change throughout my high school career. My family has given me every opportunity to help me succeed in softball and I am forever thankful for them helping me become the person I am today.
