Jack O'Keefe '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a very passionate volleyball player and student. I play club volleyball on the 949 16 White team. My team has done very well this season, and  believe that we do so well because of our great chemistry. I think that a good volleyball player is not only good athletically, but also mentally, and that is shown through being  good teammate. I always try to do what is best for my team, which includes motivation after a rough play or helping a teammate when they are not playing their best. Outside of volleyball I have focused my studies primarily on Science, and I thoroughly enjoy it. Over summer I work at a research lab at UCSD, where I analyze DNA from patients and then let the doctor see if they have any troubling genetic history. I feel that I have differentiated myself academically through my grades and science related extracurriculars, and I feel that I have differentiated myself volleyball wise through my hard work and good attitude.
