Hunter Marcantonio '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Hunter Marcantonio, I am a senior at Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento California. I love playing sports! I started playing volleyball in seventh grade and immediately connected with the sport. Volleyball is a true team sport. It is nearly impossible to score without the assistance of each team member. There is no room for ego, only a desire to assist, block, recover, or ace each rally. Each player is responsible for the level of play they bring to each game, and I strive to bring the highest level every time. I am a very vocal player. I like to be a motivator when things are tough, an instigator when we need a little push, and a team member who acknowledges others for a job well done. You will find me in the middle of the pre-game huddle getting my teammates fired up for victory, but you will also find me pulling my team together when we are struggling, giving words of encouragement, and reminding my teammates of their ability to persevere.  You won't find a more coachable player than me. I always strive to push my limits and become a better player and teammate. I will be the first to show up and the last to leave and there is no question of my commitment. I can't wait to meet you and show you what I am capable of.
