I'd love to be a part of a college volleyball team. I strongly believe I would be a great candidate for their team as I have great character, athleticism and strong academics. I am disciplined, hardworking and a team player. I believe in constant self-improvement and perfecting my ability to perform at an optimum level as an athlete. I am capable of taking in feedback and applying the coaching into perfecting my craft as a volleyball player. I understand that as a team, we are stronger than the sum of its parts in order to dominate and win games.
I believe that what sets me apart from other recruits in regards to my character is my interpersonal skills and my innate nature to encourage and stay positive despite adversity and opposition. I am a responsible and consistent student and make sure that I am able to juggle keeping my good grades consistently as well as being able to play volleyball.
I am a member of different clubs in Saugus HS I feel passionate about such as Drug Free Youth to which I am a president of. I am a member of other clubs in school such as Safe School Ambassadors to which I am Vice President and we make sure that we maintain a safe space for students and advocate for good mental health.
In regards to my athleticism, I currently play for Legacy Volleyball Club as a setter and made it in to Junior Varsity for Saugus HS to which I play as a setter. I started attending my high school camp before entering as a freshman last school year and fell in love with volleyball. I played as a frosh setter last school year. We were almost undefeated 11 wins and 1 loss. During this summer, I've participated in multiple camps such as Saugus HS VB camp, Masters University Men's volleyball camp and, Legacy Volleyball Club Clinic to continue my self improvement in volleyball. I tried out for Legacy Club and made it to 16 Elite Team. I was ecstatic! It has been fun practicing and playing in season for club and currently we're playing in the SoCal Cup in the gold bracket. I practice almost everyday other day and weekends for both my club and my school volleyball.
Academically, I currently have Cumulative 3.76 GPA. My favorite class during this semester is Algebra II/Trigonometry to which Im proud to say that I have 99.38% at this time.
I'm still trying to figure out my major at this time but I am interested in pursuing computer engineering at the moment.
