Hi Coach my name is Miya Wilson, a class of 2022 OF/1B from Santa Clarita, California! Recently my passion for softball has really kept me motivated and determined to not only continue my academic and athletic career, but to compete at wherever I end up going. I’m a team player, leader, and try my hardest to be as coach-able as I can be, every time I step out onto the field. I love each and every one of my teammates, and this year I especially can’t wait to compete with them! Ideally, I would love to go to the East Coast, but California does have a soft spot in my heart as my whole family is here. - This tournament was a huge turning point for me as a player. Burnt out because of our summer schedule, many of my teammates struggled this last tournament we had together. I played a role in bringing everyone together and fighting after we lost our first elimination game. We didn’t pull out a big win, but just seeing the competitiveness and change in attitude we all had after being down was amazing to be apart of.

- Coach Jorge and Curly were extremely welcoming and motivational throughout the entire camp! Definitely one of the most enjoyable I’ve ever been to, especially since we played under the lights against our sister team, i5 Ventura.

- Playing in Colorado is always a blast, but something was different about this experience. It was almost as if everything we worked for all year had finally clicked and gelled when it needed to. We battled every single game, and in my opinion I feel like we fell short because of an unfortunate 2 hour lightning delay. Without making excuses, the delay did set back some of our momentum, whereas for our opponent, helped them gain theirs. Overall, this tournament was one to remember and was extremely enjoyable to compete alongside some of the best girls in the country!

- 14 U So Cal Choppers won entire tourney beating out the top ranked 14U teams in the nation. This was one of my first tournaments seeing extremely competitive teams, with line ups of incredible athletes. Georgia was a great learning experience for me!
