My name is Dean Woolery and I will be a senior this year as part of the class of 2020. I'm currently the varsity setter at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California. I am looking forward to my senior year to excel both athletically and academically. During my last three seasons at Notre Dame I have been able to grow not only as a player, but as a leader. Being a setter I believe its my job to lead my team on and off the court. Throughout my life my character has been tested by my older brother. He has special needs and has taught me many things. However, I believe one of the most important things he has taught me is to never give up. I believe this translates perfectly to being a leader. As a leader I try to inspire my team to never give up no matter the circumstance. My goal going into my senior year is to be recognized as the best setter in my league. Playing a sport at Notre Dame hasn't been easy considering the academic expectations required of me. As of last year, I earned a cumulative GPA of 3.3. Going into my senior year I hope to improve my GPA. Please take a few minutes to read my profile and view my game videos, which I’ll be updating throughout the season. I hope to hear from you regarding your program and how I might be able to contribute to your team.
Sincerely,
Dean Woolery
