My name is Tritatt Thomas Bodhidatta, or as known as Jay, been growing up in Bangkok, Thailand. I’ve been playing volleyball since grade 6, I joined volleyball because of my friend’s motivation of not having enough players. Ever since I got into the varsity team in my freshmen year of high school, I took volleyball very seriously.
I mainly play Opposite or Setter. I'd say myself as a leader on the court, able to maintain and help my teammates whenever they lack focus. I love to jump serve hard and love abling to find open spaces to tip the ball into. I have quick feet, abling to get up from the floor very easily. I always focus on one thing when things can be distracting sometimes, and I can contain my emotion.
Every year I am always improving, not just on the court but in academics too. I try my best to study as hard as possible every since Covid didn’t help me through school. But I push myself every day to get better, getting out of my comfort zone to be able to get better as a player and a student.
I want to attend college where I can be happy and safe on the court and off the court. I want to go to college where academically I can be able to improve along with good professors and peers around me. I want to in the end able to make my parents and all of my family and friends proud of who I am.
