High School seems as it just started, but here I am getting ready for my next phase of life, college. High school has been challenging; new school, covid, distance learning as a freshmen, back to campus which means boarding, adjusting to new everything, and going through the challenges of not being with my family. Volleyball has been my constant, my focus, my drive to be the best that I can be. It has been my positive light through all the struggles of not living at home. My team has become my family. The academic level of school has been unknown territory from the small school that I came from. It wasn't ideal, but learning to adjust and never giving up has helped strengthen the man I am today. I have not settled on a degree as I've always been interested in aviation, engineering, and business. College has always been a goal as what I choose to do lays the foundation for my long term endeavors.
I am a good candidate to be a part of a team as I am respectful, hard working, coachable, and always striving to accomplish individual and team goals. Growing up in a small town with little opportunities is a driving force to getting out into the world and becoming the best me; representing my home, my family, my Hawai'i. Aloha is a way of life and that is one thing that separates me from others as character is greater than talent.
